Patriotic Club ‘94: Strengthening Our Future Together. Since its founding in 1993/1994, Patriotic Club ’94 has been a cornerstone of our community, fostering fellowship, excellence, and heritage. As we look ahead, our objective is to expand our membership while preserving the rich culture and unity that define us.

Club History

1993


Formation of the Club

A group of friends driven by a shared vision for community impact formed the Patriotic Club of Ise Ekiti after deliberations on three possible names. The first meeting, held in November 1993 at Okesokun Street, Ise Ekiti, had nine founding members. Two more members were admitted after the second meeting, bringing the total to eleven.

1994


First Social Event

The club held its first social event at Super Care Hotel, Ise Ekiti. The party was considered the best at the time and helped boost the club’s popularity and influence within the community.

1995


Community Impact & New Members

Six new members joined, increasing membership to 17. Despite still being students, members contributed to erecting a welcome/farewell signpost at the town’s entry (Ikere Road). The club also introduced merit awards to outstanding indigenes and scholarships for brilliant secondary school students.

2001


Latest Batch of Members

The most recent admission round saw six more members join, bringing the total membership to 26. The club mourns the loss of two founding members, Late Pat. Kayode Idowu and Late Pat. Akerele Gbenga, whose contributions remain deeply valued.t.

2025


Rebranding and New Leadership

On January 5, 2025, the club officially changed its name to Patriotic Club 94 of Ekiti State. A new executive team was elected, led by the seventh president, Patriot (Hon.) Aluko Adeolu. The club continues to grow, grounded in its legacy and aiming to be a reference point in Ekiti State and Nigeria.
